Buffalo Wild Wings and Flavor 574 to host World Cup watch party

June 10, 2014

The couch won’t be the only place to watch the opening of the 2014 FIFA World Cup this Thursday, June 12.

Buffalo Wild Wings, located at 1829 Rieth Blvd., Goshen, will host a World Cup Watch Party at 4 p.m., kicking off festivities at the same time as the first World Cup game.

Party-goers will be able to watch Brazil and Croatia compete in Brazil from any of the restaurant’s eight big-screen and 40 flat-screen televisions. There will be food and drink specials, including 60-cent boneless wings and reduced-price Medalla Premium Light and Budweiser beer. The event will also have giveaways such as Budweiser shirts and keychains.

The party is free and co-hosted by Flavor 574.

The World Cup is pretty big,” said Bret Robertson, regional manager for Buffalo Wild Wings. “It’s a unique experience for us. We try to showcase different sports that are out there and let people know that we’re a great place to come watch the game. We’re expecting to fill the restaurant.”
