The Daily Grind on Lexington Avenue in Elkhart is extending its hours.

Starting Monday, June 9, the local coffee shop will open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, as announced on its Facebook page Tuesday. The longer hours are being tested for the summer and, if all goes well, could become permanent.

The Daily Grind is a locally-owned coffee shop serving a variety of hot and cold coffee drinks, pastries, sandwiches and soups.
