Summer is officially here, and for many kids that means heading off to camp.

In Elkhart, the Salvation Army is getting kids in the kitchen.

The Kurt Janowsky Cooking Camp at the Salvation Army is a two-week day camp where 6 middle school kids learned how to chop onions, set a formal dinner table properly and work together as a team on a meal.

Listen to the kids talk about their experiences at the camp in this week’s episode of the podcast.
