Scotty’s Brewhouse could become international chain under purchase agreement
Indianapolis-based Scotty’s Brewhouse could become an international chain restaurant under a purchase agreement currently being negotiated between current owner Scott Wise and an organization with ties in Arizona and Japan.
Under the deal, Pacific Restaurant Partners would buy all Scotty’s locations and two Thr3e Wise Men brewpubs for $20 million, according to the Indianapolis Business Journal. Wise would work for the company for five years after the sale for $350,000 per year, plus a 5 percent stake.
There are 13 Scotty’s Brewhouse locations in Indiana, including one in Mishawaka, and one in Punta Gorda, Fla. The deal could see up to 200 locations popping up throughout America and potentially in Japan.
Pacific Restaurant Partners is a partnership between companies in Scottsdale, Ariz., and Tokyo, Japan.
