For most of Michiana, fall means enjoying the beautiful leaves and sipping on Pumpkin Spice Lattes. For me, it means sweet potatoes are in season and I can eat as many as I want without judgement.

Like all great foods, sweet potatoes are incredibly versatile. You can throw them in any almost any recipe and it’ll be good, whether the dish is sweet or savory.

Plus, sweet potatoes are SO GOOD FOR YOU. They’re a great source of vitamin A (beta-carotine), vitamin C, manganese, potassium, fiber, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, biotin and a whole bunch of other vitamins and nutrients.
