What’s better than Taco Tuesday? When Taco Tuesday is also National Taco Day (Oct. 4)!

We at Flavor love tacos because they are:

  1. Delicious
  2. Versatile
  3. Easy to make
  4. Tacos

Taco Bell is letting you show your taco spirit with digital greeting cards, and Qdoba will give you a free drink and chips and salsa if you sign up for their Qdboa Rewards program. But neither of those are a delicious taco in your hand.

We spent some time scouring the internet to find some awesome taco recipes that you can eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert. No matter what your taste, these recipes will help you celebrate National Taco Day all day long.

BREAKFAST TACOS

We couldn’t decide on just one type of breakfast taco, and with the endless combinations of meat, potato, cheese and beans out there, we bet you can’t either. Fortunately, our friends over at Buzzfeed have a list of 17 different breakfast taco combinations. We wanna try them all, tbh.

CHILI LIME CHICKEN TACOS WITH GRILLED PINEAPPLE SALSA

You don’t necessarily have to have these tacos for lunch, but you’re going to make all of your coworkers jealous if you do. This recipe combines color, taste and style to make a visually appealing taco that is refreshing and delicious.

BEEF TACO SALAD WITH HOMEMADE TORTILLA BOWLS

Okay, we’re kinda cheating on this one because it’s not a traditional taco. BUT! We’re pretty elemental here at Flavor and we’re all about DIY projects and learning how to make new things. Adding “taco bowl artisan” to our list of skills makes this recipe totally worth it.

BACON WEAVE CHOCO TACO

This taco is going to take a little longer to make, and maybe you’re thinking you don’t have time to make this dessert taco — the recipe requires about an hour in the fridge, plus time to make the bacon weave. I ask you to re-read what kind of taco this is. Bacon. Weave. Choco. Taco. If you wanna go on a real food-venture, you can consider making the bacon weave shell for any of the tacos above.
