It’s inevitable. After a few drinks, the craving begins and you’re furiously smashing buttons on your cell phone hoping that if you keep pressing the number five long enough, a pizza will appear at your door.

Foods that are high in fat, such as avocados, and protein will help you prevent that nasty hangover the next day.

Fortunately, there are solutions to help prevent a hangover if you’ve already started drinking, too. Specifically, and this may be a no-brainer, but water should be your best friend all night long. Ibuprofen can also help your next day aches and pains if taken before sleep, but avoid anything with acetaminophen as it can cause liver damage.

If it’s already too late, and you’re hanging your head in pain as you read this, there are still a few things you can do to help ease your suffering.

In particular, a bit of honey can help push the alcohol out of your system by replacing the sugars from the alcohol with quality natural fructose sugar.
