Wedding ceremonies are all about the couple, but the reception is what the rest of us care about.

This week, the Flavor 574 podcast crew picked up their discussion where they left off last week, talking about what foods help us to decide if a restaurant knows its stuff.

The cast finished talking about genres — seafood and Mediterranean food — and also discussed what makes for a good wedding reception food. It’s also pretty clear that Rob needs to eat more Mediterranean food.

The crew also tackled the topic of wedding reception food. While it’s difficult for the couple to go off the traditional menu and appease the crew, the serving style matters just as much.

Whether you’re serving family style, buffet style or single plate, the details matter. Krystal and Joe both served wedding receptions when they were younger, and offer their points of view.

DO YOU HAVE A WEDDING COMING UP OR DID YOU RECENTLY HAVE ONE? WHAT SERVING STYLE DID YOU GO WITH, AND HOW WELL DID IT WORK? TELL US IN THE COMMENTS.
