Though the forecast says it may be sweltering, chilled Tattinger, Moët & Chandon, Mumm and Veuve Clicquot will be poured as part of the first champagne salon.
While the regular event on Fridays features music, beverage and hors d’oeuvres in the garden, this is the first of what co-owner Joshua Bishop says will be an annual event.
“We want this to be what Carriage House is known for,” he said of it becoming their signature event.
He’s hoping people will dress up as if they were going to the Kentucky Derby. “Champagne screams luxury,” he said.
The event will be in the south garden on the grounds of the restaurant. The cost is $30 per person and reservations are recommended. You can get more information on the Facebook event page or by calling 574-272-9220.
