Where to find U-pick strawberries in Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan in 2016

Strawberry season is that wonderful time at the end of spring and beginning of summer where the weather in Michiana entices us outside.

The season, like the weather, won’t be here forever. Fortunately, you have plenty of options when it comes to farms with U-pick strawberry patches in the area.

We’ve got your list of farms that are now offering berries and, in many cases, their seasonal price. Get out there and enjoy the weather and fresh strawberries, while they last.

The Berry Patch

Bixby Orchards

Frank Farms

Imhoff U-Pick Strawberries
S.R. 119, between C.R. 40 and C.R. 13 (southwest of Goshen)
Mon., Wed. and Fri., 7 a.m. until patch is picked out (usually noon)
$1.50/pound U-pick

Johnson’s Farm Produce

$10/4-quart bucket; fill five and get the sixth free

LeCount Strawberry Farm
