Taste of Michiana returns to the Century Center with a bounty of choices

Sometimes you just don’t want to commit to a certain food. Thankfully, we have Taste of Michiana, which begs us all to try a diverse menu of locally made food and only commit to coming hungry.

I got a peek last week at at some of the food and beverages that will be available at today’s event and stopped to talk to Chef Bela, head chef at Life Treatment Center.

The full list of vendors at this year’s event was released on the Taste of Michiana Facebook page and includes Easley Winery, Fruit Hills Winery and Orchard, Lemon Creek Winery and Satek Winery.

This year’s Taste of Michiana will be Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Century Center in South Bend. Admission is $25 at the door and covers all food and beverages at the event.

All proceeds from the 2016 Taste of Michiana will benefit Life Treatment Centers, a nonprofit organization that aids those struggling with addictions.
