With a Fresh Thyme Farmer's Market, Marshall V. King lets us know if we still need a Trader Joe's

Food Guy Marshall King isn’t afraid to chew on the tough questions.

King visited the ABC 57 studios on Thursday and talked with anchor Emily Evans about his latest column on whether or not Michiana still needs a Trader Joe’s now that we have a Fresh Thyme Farmer’s Market.

He also discussed the opening of a new brick and mortar store for Ben’s Soft Pretzels inside the downtown South Bend Chocolate Café at 122 S. Michigan St., South Bend. The store opens on National Pretzel Day, April 26.

Lastly, King mentioned the seasonal opening of The Chief in Goshen, which saw crowds lining up down the street last Monday to get their first taste of the homemade ice cream for the season.

You can watch the full clip below.

See King at 7:30 a.m. Thursdays on CW 25.
