The popular Central Indiana brewery is distributing in northern Indiana again after state production limits led it to stop sending product outside the Indianapolis and Bloomington areas in 2014. WISH-TV reported Sun King Brewing was lobbying to raise Indiana’s limits to meet demand.
That cap increased last year, Indy Star reported, and Indiana microbreweries may now sell 90,000 barrels of beer in-state — triple the limit before the increase.
Starting Friday, you can grab a cold brew at bars and restaurants in Elkhart, South Bend and Goshen thanks to Sun King’s expansion. To find a venue where Sun King beer will be available, see the company’s map below.
