Super Bowl 2016: Drink specials and watch parties at South Bend, Elkhart-area restaurants

The Denver Broncos, featuring Indianapolis Colts veteran Peyton Manning, face off against the Carolina Panthers this weekend in Super Bowl 50, airing at 6:30 p.m. Sunday on CBS.

You can watch the Super Bowl and hours of pre-game coverage for free online via CBS Sports. Verizon customers can stream Super Bowl 50 live on the NFL mobile app for free.

If you’d rather get out of the house to watch, here are a few local restaurants and bars that will show the game.


Bar Louie, 6501 Grape Road in Mishawaka, is open 11 to 2 a.m. Sunday, with a burger special one hour before the game. Customers can order a burger with a hamburger patty, bun and lettuce for $1 and add toppings for an extra charge. The restaurant will also offer select appetizers for $7, including boneless wings and potstickers.


Between the Buns is offering plenty of specials on Super Bowl Sunday, including a free buffet at halftime. Drink specials include 32-ounce Bud and Bud Light drafts for $3.95, $10 buckets of Bud, Bud Light, Coors Light and Miller Lite and 12-Speed Margaritas for $7 each.

Between the Buns catering is also offering wing deals, with 25 3-piece wings for $22.99 and 50 wings for $44.99.


Buffalo Wild Wings will stay open until the game is over. You can watch at the restaurant, 1829 Rieth Boulevard in Goshen.


Hooters in Mishawaka will show the game during its regular Sunday hours, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The bar and grill made a comeback last fall at 205 W. Day Road in Mishawaka after closing at the same location four years before


Iechyd Da will be open for its regular Sunday hours, noon to 8 p.m. at 317 N. Main St. in Elkhart. The Super Bowl will be playing on TVs in the restaurant, with the sound muted.


Watch the game on the big screen at Krāv, which will open at 4 p.m. Sunday at 526 S. Main St. in Elkhart.

The restaurant will offer a $10 all-you-can-eat tailgate buffet from 5 p.m. to halftime, with $5 draft pitchers, $2.50 well drinks and Blue Moon and Angry Orchard for $1.50.


Red Robin will be open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday at 4010 N. Main St. in Mishawaka.


All three of Wings Etc.’s Michiana restaurants will show the Super Bowl and stay open as long as the game continues. Wings Etc. is located at 105 C.R. 6 in Elkhart, 23222 U.S. 33 in Dunlap and 11480 McKinley Highway in Osceola.
