Fresh Thyme Farmers Market to open eighth Indiana store Feb. 11 in Mishawaka
It’s about time for Fresh Thyme Farmers Market to open its eighth Indiana store in Mishawaka.
There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 7 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, with “prominent city officials” at the new store at 5518 Grape Road in Mishawaka. The specialty retailer offers “value-priced fresh, healthy, natural and organic offerings,” according to a news release.
The first 250 people to shop at the store will get 20 percent off their purchases and a free reusable Fresh Thyme shopping bag. The store will also pay for an entire cart of groceries for every hundredth customer.

Fresh Thyme will also donate five percent of its profits that day to Hello Gorgeous!, a nonprofit organization that provides “red-carpet experiences” for women battling cancer. This includes complimentary makeovers, cosmetic education and spa visits among other things.
The business has already filled a hundred full-time and part-time positions at its Mishawaka store.
