When I was a kid, dinner the night of Halloween was an unfortunate necessity.
I’d come roaring home from school, fly in the door and was prepared to get my costume on, itchy tights and all, and go trick or treating.
“It’s still light outside, Danielle!” my mom would tell me. “Let people get home from work and eat dinner. Just be patient.”
Five minutes when you’re a kid seems like five hours, especially on Halloween. Last week, we asked readers what easy meal they wanted for dinner and Sloppy Joes took the lead.
This recipe from Cookapalooza takes only six ingredients and 10 minutes, so you can eat and get to the fun stuff faster.
Below the recipe, see this week’s poll and vote for what sounds good next week. We can take care of the rest.
