“The goal of this shut down is to make the restaurant more appealing to our customers and add touches here and there to make it more our own,” owner Kate Horne told Flavor 574. “You have to constantly adapt and change things up a bit in this business and this is our time to do so.”
“You have to constantly adapt and change things up a bit in this business and this is our time to do so.”
The restaurant opened in August 2012 and, though the menu is staying true to its roots, touches around the restaurant will be different when people can return in early November, Horne said.
Some of the improvements include a fresh coat of paint and new carpet, as well as upgrades to the bar like pub-style tables, Horne said.
Shortly after it opens again, Fat Cam’s will have a beer dinner Tuesday, Nov. 10, with five courses centered around Dark Horse Brewing beers.
