Celebrate the end of the week with a concert and dinner, you’ve earned it.

Start the night with dinner in downtown Goshen. Give yourself enough time and duck into Maple Indian Cuisine, 127 S. Main St., to warm up.

Whether you or your date has special diet needs, there’s vegan and vegetarian-friendly food on the menu.

Head over to Goshen College after dinner for St. Joseph Valley Camerata’s first concert of the year, Flights of Fancy.

The show features works from the Renaissance through Modern periods accompanied by a visual component, according to Goshen College.

Some tunes might even sound familiar, including certain bluegrass selections and even a song from The Beatles.

The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, in Goshen College’s Sauder Music Hall. Tickets are $5 for students, $10 for adults and are available online
