Enjoy a free dessert when you pick up 'Eat Shop Give' certificates in Goshen
Supporting local businesses can be really sweet.
The Center for Healing & Hope is having its “Dessert First” fundraiser from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23.
The event kicks off its “Eat Shop Give” fall program, where people can purchase $20 certificates for 22 Goshen restaurants and businesses, according to a news release from the center.
Among some of the restaurants include:
Fifty percent of the sales support medical care at clinics in Goshen and Elkhart, according to the news release.
Certificates will be available for purchase at “Dessert First.” As the name suggests, there will be free dessert, as well as tours of the clinic, 902 S. Main St.

Donations will be accepted at the event and those who donate $100 or more will be eligible for a prize from Venturi Pizza or The Nut Shoppe, according to the news release.
Certificates can be purchased at the center’s office, 902 S. Main St., Goshen, from Sept. 25 through Oct. 12, or until sold out and are valid until Dec. 31.
