Zoo Brew 2015 brings local craft brews into the wild to support conservation, education, more
Think the zoo is just for kids? Think again.
South Bend’s Potawatomi Zoo holds its annual Zoo Brew fundraiser Saturday evening, Sept. 12.
The event brings more than 20 area brewers and distributors into the zoo to help raise money for its conservation efforts, educational programs and new exhibits.
Guests are invited to roam the zoo from 7 to 10 p.m. and admire the wildlife while tasting craft beer and food from local restaurants.

Tickets to Zoo Brew are $35 for zoo members, or $40 for anyone else. Each attendee gets a commemorative 4-oz. tasting mug, which they can use to sample as many beers at the event as they’d like (responsibly, of course). Attendees can also enjoy unlimited food samples while supplies last.
New this year is a VIP option, which allows ticket holders to enter the event early, at 6 p.m., and trade in their stubs for a Zoo Brew T-shirt at the end of the night.
To buy tickets, visit the website, call 574-288-4639 or stop by the zoo’s admission gate.
