Mad Anthony Brewing's OktoBEERfest will feature homebrews, food trucks, more
More than 40 breweries are expected to flock to Fort Wayne for an early Oktoberfest of sorts.

The 17th Mad Anthony Brewing OktoBEERfest is Saturday, Sept. 12, at Headwaters Park West in Fort Wayne, according to a news release from the brewing company.
Among the preliminary list of brewers are:
- Shoreline Brewery (Michigan City)
- Ironwood Brewing (Valparaiso)
- Triton Brewing (Indianapolis)
- Half Moon (Kokomo)
Tickets are available online for $30 and include unlimited samples from 2 to 6 p.m., a gift, live music and access to Food Truck Alley with offerings like Who Cut the Cheese?, Bravas and Ragin’ Cajun, according to Mad Anthony Brewing’s website.
This is the second year of the Mad Brewers Challenge, according to the news release. Homebrewers had the opportunity in August to enter to win the chance at having their beer commercially brewed and served at Mad Anthony pubs.
Top entries from the contest will be served at the festival and it’ll be up to festival goers to vote, according to the news release.
