Sip wine and listen to live blues music at Lemon Creek Winery's Harvest Festival
Just because summer is about to end doesn’t mean festival season has to.
In fact, September is rife with festivals around Michiana. Lemon Creek Winery’s annual Harvest Festival is Saturday, Sept. 12, at the winery.
Noon to 6 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 12
Lemon Creek Winery, 533 E. Lemon Creek Road, Berrien Springs, Mich.
There will be live music from Venitia Sekema and the Luna Madre Band, plus more from The Elwood Splinters Blues Band, according to a news release from the winery. There will also be grilled food, art and food vendors and wine tastings for the adult crowd.
Festival goers can enjoy a free hayride around the vineyards and have bratwursts, corn on the cob and other picnic-style foods, according to the release.

It’s OK to bring personal lawn seating, but guests are discouraged from bringing a cooler, according to the release.
General admission is $10 per person for those over 21, according to the release. Admission for those under 21 is free when accompanied by family. Admission for adults comes with a souvenir glass and three free tastings from more than 25 wines.
Only Lemon Creek wines are allowed at the festival.
