IHOP will dish out short stacks for one dollar for its Share a Smile Day

Now you have an even better reason to have breakfast for dinner. 

From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, IHOP will hand out plates if short stack pancakes for just $1 in honor of its Share a Smile Day, according to a news release from the company.

Mishawaka: 4115 N. Main St.

Share a Smile Day kicks off a partnership between the breakfast restaurant and No Kid Hungry, in which guests at IHOP can donate to the organization from Aug. 24 to Sept. 20, according to the release.

Fifty cents from each plate will be donated to the organization, which helps children get the food they need and connects families with resources for cooking wholesome meals a budget, according to the news release. 

“One in five American children struggle with hunger, which can have serious long-term effects on their development and success,” IHOP president Darren Rebelez said in the release. “We are so proud to partner with No Kid Hungry to bring smiles to children’s faces as we fight to end childhood hunger.”

Staff at the Elkhart and Mishawaka locations confirmed they are participating in the offer.
