MISHAWAKA – Evil Czech Brewery invited customers to enjoy a cold one in its new beer garden Tuesday, July 2.
The space is enclosed by a graffiti-embellished wall and can accommodate up to 120 people.
Anything you can order inside the brewery, you can get outside in the shade of the locust tree, too. And starting Thursday, July 9, guests can even start a game of cornhole in the garden.
“I come from Central Europe, so the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Austria, (beer gardens) are very much part of their culture,” proprietor George Pesek said. “I think the culture is very much growing here. Beer garden is right now in every town. It’s kind of the gathering place, the community place to enjoy the beautiful outdoors.”
