Pick a peck of peppers. After that, anything goes.
Similar to the organization’s “Anything Goes” series of the past, the only requirements for entries are that the dish’s main ingredient must be the featured item and must be homemade, according to the release.
Check-in for the competition is between 11 and 11:45 a.m. at the Home and Family Arts building. Judging will follow at noon.
According to the release, a copy of the recipe must accompany the dish and be typed or neatly written on an 8½-inch-by-11-inch sheet of paper. On the back of the paper, contestants should include their names, addresses and phone numbers.
Pre-registration is not required, and entrance is covered in the price of fair admission.
Yet-to-be-determined awards will be given to first, second and third place winners.
