Date Night: Goshen Dining Days pairs deals on delicious food with your Saturday night fun

Goshen has finally woken from its winter slumber.

With entertainment lined up, Goshen Dining Days specials on delicious food and fantastic weather, there is really no excuse to miss date night Saturday, April 18 — especially considering part of the proceeds from your dinner will go toward a good cause.

Get an early start on your plans by stopping by Ignition Music Garage for a full-day celebration of Record Store Day. Live music and door prizes will be going on until 5 p.m.

The main event of this date night is the food. Several of the Goshen restaurants participating in the inaugural Goshen Dining Days will offer special dinners for two:

  • South Side Soda Shop will serve up a seafood dinner for two for $30. You can choose parmesan reggiano with fresh seafood or housemade crab cakes. Both options are served with a dinner salad, drink and either a scoop of ice cream or a piece of pie.
  • Split a margherita pizza at Venturi for $28. The special is also served with a greens and grana salad and your choice of tiramisu or panna cotta.
  • Order an appetizer and two entrees for $25 from Constant Spring. Choose from the housemade beer cheese dip or roasted dates to start. Entree options include the pesto burger, barbecue chicken, pad Thai salad or Asian pork.

If you still have room for dessert, stop by The Electric Brew for two coffees and two desserts for $8.50.

In case you do come up with an excuse to skip date night Saturday, don’t fret — the Goshen Dining Days deals will stick around through Saturday, April 25.
