It seems that most of the nasty weather this year has fallen on weekends, which doesn’t fare well for date night.
But there’s good news: It appears this weekend will be free of blizzard warnings and travel advisories.
You can celebrate with a night out in downtown Goshen.
Start out with dinner and drinks at Maple Indian Cuisine, 127 S. Main St. The restaurant has been quickly embraced since it opened in the fall.
Try a favorite like the butter chicken, chicken masala or lamb biryani or spice up your night with some curry.
The North Carolina-based band will perform tunes “filled with biographical lyrics about last calls, lost love and long horizons.”
The show starts at 7:30 p.m. and will also feature country rocker and South Bend native Zach DuBois.
Tickets are still available — the cost is $10 for general admission or $20 for reserved seating. Call 574-971-8282 to save a spot or stop by the garage ahead of the show.
