Salvation Army's Pancake Day is coming up next week

Craving some breakfast food? The Goshen Salvation Army’s 51st annual Pancake Day is almost here.

The pancakes and sausage will be served from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, at the Salvation Army, 1013 N. Main St. in Goshen, according to a news release.

Tickets are $5 in advance and $6 at the door.

An average of 2,400 people attend the event each year and volunteers served more than 20,000 pancakes last year, according to the news release.

The Fairfield High School Choraliers will perform at the event Friday morning and the Goshen High School Crimsonaires will perform in the noon hour.

The money raised at Pancake Day will be used for the Salvation Army’s programming throughout the next year. The organization hopes to raise more than $70,000 at this year’s event.
