Bobby Singh, owner of Maple Indian Cuisine, is planning to open Friday, Sept. 5.

Fans of ethnic food have been eagerly awaiting the opening at 127 S. Main St., Goshen. Singh had said he’d be open a few months ago, but is finally past the delays and will open for Goshen’s First Friday celebration.

On its first day of business, the $8.99 buffet will be available from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Singh said that’s needed to deal with the crowd he’s expecting.

On Saturday, it will settle into its usual pattern of a buffet from 10:30 to 3:30 seven days a week. The restaurant will serve food from the menu from 5:30 to 10 p.m. seven days a week, he said.
