There’s only one week left to get The Chief Ice Cream before it closes for the season.

The ice cream parlor on 502 W. Lincoln Ave. will close on Saturday, Sept. 6.

This week, the Chief will continue to be open from 2 to 9:30 p.m. on Sunday and noon to 9:30 p.m. from Monday to Saturday. Pints will be sold for $3 instead of $3.75 on Saturday.

There will be no special flavor at The Chief Ice Cream this holiday weekend.

You can still purchase a pint from The Chief Ice Cream every first Friday of October and November. The store will open at noon and close once ice cream runs out.

The Chief Ice Cream will also sell ice cream and Christmas trees on the day after Thanksgiving from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day. The ice cream parlor will offer their special holiday flavors then, which includes peppermint, pistachio nut, eggnog, dutch apple and pumpkin. The Chief will remain open every day until their ice cream and trees run out.
