A Chicago-based sandwich, salad and soup chain could move into the Mishawaka building left vacant by Hooters in 2011, the South Bend Tribune reports.
Potbelly Sandwich Shop could open by January or February 2015, developer Louis Schriber III told the Mishawaka city council on Monday, Aug. 4.
The council approved re-zoning of the site at 205 W. Day Road so a drive-through could be added, according to the South Bend Tribune.
Potbelly serves original size and “Big” sub sandwiches with various toppings, several salads, breakfast options, shakes, smoothies and baked goods.
