Mackinac Island’s fudge is a big draw for tourists year-round, but during one weekend every summer the candy takes over.
At the Mackinac Island Fudge Festival (August 22-24) visitors can get “Fudge on the Rocks” — drinks prepared by the island bartenders that imitate the area’s famous treats.
Other events include fudge making demonstrations all day Saturday, beer tastings and a fudge giveaway for kids.
