Three recipes for grilling Indiana sweet corn

Flavor 574 presents a brand new video series bringing you cooking tips from local chef Randy Z. Each month, Randy will focus on a different topic and share simple recipes and cooking techniques on that topic in four weekly episodes. This month, we’re hitting the grill and Indiana sweet corn was the obvious choice for our first episode. Tune in for three ridiculously easy ways to cook great flavor into your grilled corn.


Here are recipes for the two more complex flavors demonstrated in the video.

Southwestern Grilled Corn

Southwestern spice blend, equal parts of:

  • cumin
  • garlic granules
  • chili powder

After 5-6 minutes on the grill, sprinkle with lime zest and a squeeze of lime juice.

Italian Grilled Corn

Italian spice blend, equal parts of:

  • caraway seed
  • oregano
  • thyme
  • garlic
  • celery seed

After 5-6 minutes on the grill, sprinkle with grated Parmesan and drizzle with balsamic vinegar.
