Houlihan’s in Mishawaka is no more.
The franchised restaurant announced its closing via social media Tuesday, May 27.
Parting is such sweet sorrow. We have official closed our doors. Thank you for all the memories!

The same message appeared on the restaurant’s Facebook page, which has more than 2,000 followers.
Deborah Foley, one of the owners, told WNDU that it became increasingly difficult to manage the restaurant from her and her husband Jim White’s headquarters in Florida.
The couple own five other Houlihan’s around the Orlando, Fla., area and one in downtown Chicago, WSBT reports. Some of the restaurant’s 50 local employees are being offered jobs at the Chicago location.
White told WSBT they plan to leave the building fully equipped and hope to lease it out right away.
