Last weekend, the owner of Granger’s Bare Hands Brewery suffered a fall that caused partial brain injury.

As a small business owner with a family and no health insurance, Chris Gerard is facing hefty medical bills. To offset the costs, his family has set up an online funding campaign through Crowdwise inviting people to “raise a pint” and help reach their $60,000 goal by June 23.

Funds can be donated at the Crowdrise page and at Bare Hands Brewery, which plans to keep its regular business hours as Gerard recovers, according to Bare Hands Brewery’s Facebook.
